Dahlia 'Jowey Winnie' defies simple color description, and that's precisely what makes it so special. Here's my description: smoky terracotta pink with a peachy undertone and sometimes a hint of deep purple at the petal tips. She produces armfuls of perfectly round flowers all summer long.
Flowering and growth
Dahlia 'Jowey Winnie' blooms from summer to autumn with 12 cm flowers. The spherical flowers stand tall on straight stems and last a long time in a vase. The more often you prune, the more flowers it produces. With a height of 120 cm, it's suitable for both cutting gardens and ornamental gardens.
Location and care
Plant the tubers after the last frost in well-drained, fertile soil and choose a sunny spot. Provide extra water during dry periods and remove spent flowers to prolong flowering. You can dig up the tubers in winter and store them frost-free, or cover them well with mulch during mild winters.
