Dahlia 'Joyfull Investment' – deep red with a golden heart
Dahlia 'Joyfull Investment' has the most apt name of all dahlia varieties. A cheerful investment that will fill your summer with deep red flowers adorned with a white to light pink collar. At its center is a golden yellow heart, bursting with nectar, attracting bees and butterflies in droves. The flowers have a diameter of about 10cm and grow to a height of 90cm. It's also a variety that thrives in a beautiful flowerpot.
Flowering and growth
Dahlia 'Joyfull Investment' blooms profusely from summer until the first frost and continues to produce new flowers as long as you keep cutting them. This compact plant carries its flowers firmly on dark stems, making it resistant to wind and weather. The flowers stay beautiful in the vase for a long time, and their unique color palette adds a playful touch to any bouquet.
Location and care
Plant the tubers after the last frost in well-drained, fertile soil and place them in a sunny spot. Water during dry periods and remove spent flowers to prolong flowering.
