Why you want Dahlia LATE in your garden

Dahlia 'LATE' – peachy pink ball dahlia with a subtle sheen
Dahlia 'LATE' is a small ball dahlia (or a large pompom, whatever you like to call it) that instantly adds a warm glow to your garden. Its flowers are perfectly round and composed of tightly rolled petals. The color starts out fresh and bright in peach and pink, but softens as the flower ages. With a hint of raspberry and the occasional touch of yellow, each flower seems like a different version. It's precisely this variation that makes it so delightful and surprising.

Flowering and growth
Dahlia 'LATE' blooms from summer until the first frost, producing flowers about 10 cm across. The plants grow to about 100 cm tall and produce an abundance of flowers on sturdy stems. Perfect for bouquets, because the more often you pick them, the more buds will return.

Location and care
Plant the tubers after the last frost in well-drained, fertile soil in a sunny spot. Provide extra water during dry spells and prune dead flowers for longer blooms. Thanks to their compact, neat growth, they're also very suitable for planting in pots or at the front of the border.

Why choose Dahlia 'LATE'?
Its soft peachy pink hues complement almost any color palette and are a lovely base for endless combinations with other dahlia varieties. It blooms profusely and boasts strong, long stems, making it a beautiful vase plant.

Combination tip
Combining different dahlias is the most fun, so let your creativity run wild. I personally love the combination with the Dahlia Penhill Watermelon .
