Dahlia 'Nadia Ruth' feels like a soft hug in the shape of a flower. Her large, 20cm blooms are composed of delicate, deeply incised petals that almost appear fluffy. The soft pastel pink tones with a light, buttery cream center complete the soft, cuddly look.
Flowering and growth
Dahlia 'Nadia Ruth' is a cactus dahlia that blooms from midsummer until the first frost. The plants grow to 100 cm tall and are strong enough to support their large flowers. It's a productive variety that continues to bloom profusely, especially when you regularly prune the flowers.
Location and care
Plant the tubers after the last frost in loose, fertile soil in a sunny spot. During dry spells, some extra water is welcome. Removing spent flowers will help the plant continue to produce new buds. In winter, you can dig up the tubers and store them in a frost-free place, or cover them with a thick layer of mulch in mild winters.
