Dahlia 'Nathalie G' – soft peachy-pink ball dahlia
Dahlia 'Nathalie G' is one of those flowers that instantly captures your heart. It's also called a miniature ball dahlia because of its small yet delicate appearance. The flowers are 8 cm in diameter, making them lovely to combine with other, larger dahlia varieties, creating an airy and playful effect. The round flowers are a soft peachy pink with a warm salmon hue and a hint of yellow at the base of the petals.
Flowering and growth
Dahlia 'Nathalie G' blooms profusely from July until the first frost, producing an enormous number of flowers. The plants grow to about 80 cm tall and produce long, straight stems that are ideal for cutting. The more often you pick, the more new buds will appear. It's beautiful as a cut flower, and its average height also makes it suitable for pots.
Location and care
Plant the tubers after the last frost in a sunny corner of the garden, in loose, fertile soil that drains well. Regular watering is important during dry weeks. Remove faded flowers to prolong flowering and encourage new buds. In winter, dig up the tubers and store them in a frost-free place, or protect them with a thick layer of mulch in mild winters.
