Dahlia 'Ping Pong' – playful pompom with cream-cerise color mix
Dahlia 'Ping Pong' is new to our range and I added it because its perfectly round, 5cm-long pompom flowers add a playful, airy touch to your dahlia collection. The petals are cream-colored and cerise-pink, the same color you'll find in your summer fruit salad with juicy cherries.
Flowering and growth
Dahlia 'Ping Pong' is a pompom dahlia with flowers about 5cm across, perfectly spherical, and held tall on long stems. It makes the perfect cut flower for your summer bouquet and creates a lovely, playful effect in your garden when combined with the often large dahlia flowers.
Location and care
Plant the tubers after the last frost in well-drained, fertile soil with plenty of sun. Keep the soil evenly moist as needed. Regularly remove faded flowers to prolong flowering. In winter, you can dig up the tubers and store them in a frost-free place, or protect them with mulch in mild winters.
