Why you want Dahlia Teesbrooke Audrey in your garden
Dahlia 'Teesbrooke Audrey' – pastel pink flower with bees as regular visitors
Dahlia 'Teesbrooke Audrey' has a very soft, delicate appearance. Its soft pastel pink petals frame an ivory white collar, and in the centre radiates a warm yellow heart.
And guess who finds that heart irresistible? Bees, butterflies, and other pollinators feast on the nectar all summer long. A beautiful and useful addition to your garden.
Flowering and growth
Dahlia 'Teesbrooke Audrey' is a collarette dahlia that grows to a height of about 90 cm, making it perfect for both your border and a flowerpot. It blooms profusely from midsummer until the first frost, with flowers about 10 cm across. Cut flowers regularly to encourage the plant to produce new buds.
Location and care
Plant the dahlia in well-drained, fertile soil in a sunny spot (or light partial shade), and it will reward you with long-lasting blooms. During dry spells, give it some extra water. And don't forget: regular pruning encourages new flowers and continued flowering. In winter, you can dig up the tubers and store them frost-free, or cover them with mulch in mild winters.
Why choose Dahlia 'Teesbrooke Audrey'?
Its nectar-rich heart attracts bees and butterflies, making your garden both more beautiful and more vibrant.
Combination tip
I love the combination with the soft shades of Dahlia Sweet Nathalie.
